Ice Cream Social at Nona Strada

Sadly I know some of you will have already taken off for the summer but for those of you still around I hope you'll be able to make it for a mid-week ice cream social. Nona Strada is known far and wide for their amazing gelato and I can personally attest that the stuff is divinely good! Options range from a simple cone to fancier fare including gelato with liquore, yum! There is a table charge of 2€ and the fancier gelatos average around 8€, a tea around 5€. If you only ordered a cone though you should plan on bringing at least 5€ (the portions are generious).

Nona Strada is in Cade, a small town between Reggio Emilia and Parma on the Via Emilia (slightly closer to Reggio). It does not have a train station and though there are buses that run by there I highly recommend carpooling as the buses stop running at 20:00. If you don't have access to a car, contact me and I'll help you sort out a ride. If you can be in Sant'Ilario by 20:00 I'll take you myself, just let me know in advance as if there are more than 4 people I'll need to sort out additional car shares. If your planning on coming in your own car and you have space for additional passengers can you please post in the comments where your coming from and how many spaces you have free? If someone from your town has posted that they have space available you can contact them directly about a ride.

On a personal note, this will likely be my last meetup till September as I'll be away for the better part of the next two months. So if I don't see you for the Social, I hope you have a wonderful Summer holiday!
